System Technician For the State
Assist in providing customer support via remote, on-site or telephone whereby matters will either be resolved or escalated as necessary. Identify potential weaknesses within the organization’s Data Processing infrastructure and pursue viable solutions. Providing creative solutions and needed followup.  DUTIES & ABILITIES  1. Ability to effectively communicate with staff, public, and outside agencies, in a courteous, professional and timely manner in order to provide quality customer service 2. Possess strong time-management skills in order to assist with team projects and meet deadlines and accomplish goals 3. Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware (including printers, copiers, scanners) and system applications 4. Provide service as needed based on the Helpdesk Ticketing System, track progress, document details, and record solutions 5. Deployment and maintenance of applications  6. Install and configure workstations, laptops and peripheral equipment 7. Troubleshoot issues and escalate based on observed system performance issues KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 1. Conceptual understanding of networks and enterprise domain structure 2. Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 2016 or newer and Windows 10 3. General knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services and other Microsoft server roles (DNS, user accounts, and print management) 4. Knowledge of VMware, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, network storage and Cisco  5. CompTIA Security + Training  6. Cyber Security Training  7. Cryptography Certified
